Electronic Document Consent

CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT. I understand that by clicking the “I AGREE” button below, I acknowledge and agree: (1) I can receive documents electronically, including e-mail messages sent to my e-mail address and (2) I can access and retain those documents provided electronically by Granite Bay Acceptance (“GBA”).

This Consent for Electronic Documents informs me of my rights when receiving Documents electronically. By agreeing to receive information from GBA electronically, I will receive certain disclosures, notices, information and documents related to my loan application and loan (“Documents”) electronically through GBA website(s), other web sites related to my loan application, in an e-mail message or as an attachment to an e-mail message to the email address I provide to GBA in my loan application or otherwise. My consent for electronic documents will apply to the credit transaction I have requested from GBA which may give rise to the obligation to provide Documents and to any other transactions I may have with GBA. I will not be able to submit a loan application unless I consent to the receipt of electronic Documents.

Hardware and Software Requirements. To access the Documents, I will need a working email address, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a personal computer or other access device that can access the Internet using a web browser. To retain the Documents, my personal computer or access device must allow me to download and save Documents to my hard drive or external storage media, print web pages as well as embedded HTML files, or both. I can save and/or print this page to be sure I have the necessary hardware and software.

Withdrawing Consent. I may withdraw my consent to receive Documents electronically at any time by contacting GBA by telephone at 877-391-3599.

If I withdraw my consent prior to the funding of my loan, the loan process will be terminated. If I decide to withdraw my consent, any Document previously provided as an electronic Document will remain valid, enforceable, sufficient for its intended purpose, and unaffected by the withdrawal of my consent.

Copies. If you wish to obtain a paper copy of any of the Documents, you may call us by telephone at 877-391-3599 and request a copy at no charge.

Updating My Contact Information. I can update my e-mail address or mailing address on the GBA website or by telephone at 877-391-3599.

Communication Consent

I agree that Granite Bay Acceptance (“GBA”) (including its affiliates, agents and service providers) may contact me using written, electronic or verbal means, as allowed by law. I consent to being contacted at the phone numbers I have, or in the future will, provide to it, including my cellular phone number, using a live caller, an automated dialer, an artificial pre-recorded voice or text messages. I intend this consent even if my phone numbers are included in a do-not-call list or registry. I consent to be contacted by e-mail at the e-mail address I have, or in the future will, provide to GBA.

Credit Application Terms & Conditions

I am making a credit application to Granite Bay Acceptance (“GBA”). I am providing information to GBA for that purpose and certify that the information provided in this online credit application is complete, true and correct. I authorize GBA to make inquiries for the purpose of evaluating and verifying the information contained in this credit application, including obtaining credit reports, employment history and contacting my employer.

In the Federal and State Disclosures below, “you” and “your” refers to each applicant; and “our,” “we,” and “us” refers to Granite Bay Acceptance or our Affiliate Partners)

Federal Disclosure

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR CREDIT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who applies for credit. What this means to you: When you apply for credit, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see the applicant’s driver’s license or other identifying documents.

State Disclosures

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: If married, you may apply for a separate account.

MAINE, RHODE ISLAND AND TENNESSEE RESIDENTS: You must have physical damage insurance covering loss or damage to the vehicle for the term of the contract. You may purchase required insurance through any agent or broker and from any insurance company that is reasonably acceptable to Granite Bay Acceptance. You are not required to deal with any of our affiliates when choosing an agent, broker or insurer. Your choice of a particular agent, broker or insurer will not affect our credit decision, so long as the insurance provides adequate coverage with an insurer who meets our reasonable requirements.

NEW YORK RESIDENTS: In connection with this application, Granite Bay Acceptance may request a consumer report on you. If you request, we will inform you whether or not a consumer report was requested and, if it was, of the name and address of the consumer reporting agency that furnished the report. Additional consumer reports may be ordered without further notice to you in connection with any update, renewal or extension of credit granted.

OHIO RESIDENTS: The Ohio laws against discrimination require that all creditors make credit equally available to all creditworthy customers and that credit reporting agencies maintain separate credit histories on each individual upon request. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission administers compliance with this law.

RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS: Credit reports may be obtained in connection with this application for credit.

VERMONT RESIDENTS: In connection with the submission and evaluation of a credit application, you, the undersigned, authorize Granite Bay Acceptance to investigate your credit and employment history, obtain credit reports on you and release information about its credit experience with you. If your credit application is approved and credit is granted, you also authorize Granite Bay Acceptance and any assignee of your credit obligation (your “account”), and their respective employees and agents, to obtain additional credit reports and other information about you in connection with reviewing the account, collecting on your account or for any other legitimate purpose.

WISCONSIN RESIDENTS: No provision of any marital property agreement, any unilateral statement under Wis. Stat. Section 766.59 or any court decree under Wis. Stat. Section 766.70 applied to marital property adversely affects Granite Bay Acceptance’s interest unless you furnish a copy of such agreement, statement or decree to us or we have actual knowledge of such adverse provision before credit is granted.
